About Us:

Scott's Pointe is located in Calverton, NY. Our venue is home to the Lake View Grill, we provide food and beverage service to our restaurant.  We are able to cater large events such as: corporate banquets, holiday parties, and other special occasions. 

About the Role:

We are seeking an attentive and energetic Server to join our team at the Lake View Grill. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our guests' dining experience by providing excellent service and maintaining cleanliness in our dining areas. This opening is specifically to fill day time shift 11:30am-6pm 2-4 days per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Presenting menus to guests and answering questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
• Taking orders from customers and communicating them to the kitchen staff
• Serving food and beverages to guests at tables as required
• Ensuring all tables are clean and tidy before, during and after service
• Assisting with opening and closing duties
• Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

About You:

• Restaurant serving or waiting experience a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Positive attitude and patience when dealing with coworkers and guests
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations
• Able to work Day shifts

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, read and write. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and bending all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
